Connecting a table command with the console state
When a table starts in RugoPLAY, its PS5 can wake from rest mode. A timed session can return the console to rest mode when the counter reaches zero, while an open session follows the table-close command. Linking these states helps prevent consoles from remaining active without a corresponding paid session.
- Select table and PS5 from one dashboard
- Timed or open-ended activation
- Automatic end-of-session action
- Live connection and console state
How screen control changes staff workflow
When a customer needs a game opened, a menu action or a software setting, staff can respond through the management screen. Reducing repeated walks improves response time during busy periods. Remote screen control does not replace physical intervention for cables or hardware; it centralizes console software tasks.
- Remote game and menu operations
- Faster response to customer requests
- Less unnecessary movement at peak time
- Clear separation of session and technical status
Network requirements for reliable control
The management computer and PS5 consoles must share a local network. Ethernet is often preferred for consistency, although properly configured Wi-Fi can also work. Stable device addressing, disabled client isolation and sensible separation of heavy network traffic all contribute to more predictable control.
- Windows computer and PS5s on one LAN
- Stable wired or strong wireless connection
- Consistent IP and device naming
- Connectivity test before installation
Frequently asked questions
Can a PS5 be started remotely when fully powered off?+
RugoPLAY's automated wake flow is based on the console being in rest mode. Power and console settings are configured accordingly during installation.
Does remote screen control have latency?+
The experience depends on local network quality, Wi-Fi coverage and traffic. A pre-installation network check identifies potential bottlenecks.
Does every table need a separate computer?+
No. Tables on the same network can be managed from one Windows management computer.
